A new feature
Since I am a vegetarian, I am often
asked "What do you eat?" My simple
answer---Vegetables! But, I think in a
meat eating society people
can't imagine eating a side dish type food, as a
main food. So, I
thought I would share my "finds'" in this city. Some of you
to sample these really good veggie choices. From time to time I

Spring chore list
of us forget that the garage is part of our home also. It is
included in the
Feng Shui map of the home. My garage is in dire need
of clearing and
sorting...alas yes, even a Feng Shui consultant is
guilty of having clutter!
Start clearing one corner of the garage and
do not deviate from that spot
until all items have found a home they
can reside in comfortably. Set a timer
15- 30 minutes, this will allow you to take a break and not
overwhelmed. Always return to the spot where you started so you
complete the task ahead of you.
Since the windows to our home are
the 'eyes' we look out at the world
with, it's important to keep them clean.
This is a good time of the
year to open up the windows, clean them and let in
some fresh air at
the same time. The air in our homes becomes stagnant after
winter, letting malaise set in. So, open up the windows and
the energy in your home.
The three R's
don't have a blue bin to recycle with, call the city of OKC, and
deliver one to your door step. It's a convenient way to
aluminum, paper, newspaper, telephone books and cans.
Cleaning your windows
with ammonia and newspaper not only recycles the
paper but it also saves you
money by using inexpensive ammonia to clean
with. We really don't need the
blue windex for a streak free shine!
Baking soda is a great way to clean your
sinks, you can add some lemon
for a fresh clean scent.
Shui tip of the month.
Since we need to clean out our garages, *( me more
than anyone else).
It's always a good idea to let in some fresh air into your
well. Too often we close the garage door and the fumes from the
linger in that space. These fumes need to escape. So, leave the
