Your recycle tip!
A great FS tip to see you through the stress of the Holidays!
Here we go!
In December I will be teaching Gourmet vegetarian dinner at Francis Tuttle, (Rockwell campus) on Wed. Dec. 8th, 6:30-9:30 p.m.
World Neighbors is an organization which is headquartered right here in Oklahoma City. They are located on 4127 NW 122nd St. A fair trade shop is located on these premises. You will be able to purchase handmade items from across the globe! I have been helping this caring organization with their merchandise displays. I was so impressed with the quality of gift products that I had to pass this information to you. By buying from World Neighbors you will be paying fair trade prices and will be helping an organization, which promotes self-reliance rather than dependence on foreign aid. Check out their website, www.wn.org.
My talented daughter in law, Sara is promoting a holiday special for pet portraits, you can check out her website www.saramohan.com. Her rendition of beloved pets is amazing. This would be a great gift for that someone who is hard to buy for. You have enough time to e-mail a picture of a pet to Sara for her to complete a custom made gift in time for the holidays!
Lastly, you can always give my consultation as a gift to family members or friends. This gift will not chop down any trees, will not waste any natural resources and will aid all those who receive it! You can go to my website to order a *gift consultation* www.sunitasitara.com.

This is the time of year when loved ones gather for Thanksgiving; though I was not born in this country, I see the appeal of a holiday such as Thanksgiving. A day set aside to give thanks for all that we are grateful for. I am grateful that I live in these times, just imagine what it would be like to have no telephones, no e-mail, no cars, no internet, no grocery stores... no malls-- wait, I think I could do without the malls! The one thing that remains consistent through the eons is family and friends. I could manage living in the dark ages as long as loved ones are nearby. So, I am grateful for living in the 21st century and I am most grateful for people close to my heart, thank you for sharing this journey with me through time!
Plastic grocery bags, we all collect them. You can use these to line the wastebaskets in bathrooms. When full, dump the contents into the larger garbage bag in the trash. This way the liner stays in the wastebasket and can be used again and again. Other re-uses for plastic grocery bags include, using as packing material when mailing an item during the holiday season.
Your holiday Feng Shui tips!
To have less stress in your life during the holidays here are a few tips to see you through the next six weeks! To sleep well at night, clear away any stored items from under your bed. To enhance overall health surround yourself with paintings or items that bring a smile to your face. Add some type of daily exercise to your routine. This will release endorphins, which in turn will allow your body to fight off winter illnesses!
I would love to hear about your Thanksgiving stories, let me know what you are grateful for? Please drop me a line.
Enjoy your Thanksgiving!
